'Bridge' Double Degree in International Economics and Modern Languages

The "Transatlantic Dual Undergraduate Degree Program in International Economics and Modern Languages" is a dual degree. With this 4-year program eligible students prepare both a UVSQ undergradate degree (licence) in economics and management, typically with an English minor (licence économie-gestion, parcours finance et économie internationale, spécialité anglais), and  a BA in International Economics and Modern Languages at Georgia State University. You strudy for years 1 and 2 at UVSQ, year 3 is spent at Georgia State University (Atlanta, USA), year 4 part at UVSQ, part at Ca' Foscari (Venice, Italy). At the end of the program they are awarded two degrees, the licence en économie-gestion, spécialité anglais from UVSQ and the BA in International Economics and Modern Languages from GSU.

Tuition fees are waived by the American partner. Students can compete for a limited number of EU grants for their year in the USA. The semester in Venice is supported by the Erasmus program.

This program is supported by the Euro-American Atlantis program, at the Executive Agency  for Education, Audiovisual and Culture (EACEA); and by the Fund for the Improvement of Postsecondary Education (FIPSE) on the American side.

The university consortium behind the project is made up of:
The Departement of Economic Sciences and Management, College of Economics & Management of the Ca' Foscari (Venise, IT)
The College of Arts & Sciences and Andrew Young School of Policy Studies at Georgia State University (USA)
The departement of economics and management and the Institute for languages and International Studies at the Université de Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines.

How to apply


At UVSQ, application is open to students in their 2nd year of the  undergraduate degree in economics, preferably with the English minor (licence d'économie, de préférence en spécialité anglais). Students apply through their ENT (digital workplace), "my international project" tab, then submit a printed out application.
