Objectifs

This course surveys over one hundred years of American film industry from the birth of Hollywood to what is called the New Hollywood and the contemporary period. It offers theoretical information to be familiar with the American film industry - ranging from the Golden Age of the studio system to radical changes in film making due to the arrival of television, cable and satellite.

• Movie analysis and movie review.
