Objectifs

Ce cours de langue et civilisation étrangères sera organisé autour de la lecture d’articles récents en anglais sur la culture visuelle et matérielle au moyen âge et sur l’historiographie des études dans ce domaine.
This course will be organized around the reading of recent articles in English on medieval visual and material culture and on the history of study of this subject.

Contrôles des connaissances

Un article à lire chaque semaine ; des contrôles fréquents de compréhension écrite ; participation en classe ; un exposé oral individuel ou l’organisation d’un débat. L’examen partiel sera un examen oral individuel.
Reading of a different article each week, frequent written tests of reading comprehension, an individual oral presentation or the organization of a debate. The final will be an individual oral exam.
